BASIC tank ring for the KTM 890 SMT 2023–2026

The specifically assigned BASIC tank ring allows a suitable Hepco & Becker tank bag to be mounted on the 2023 to 2026 KTM 890 SMT.

Complete ring and locking kit

The black tank ring and matching retaining plate for the tank bag are supplied together as a kit. The retaining plate can be aligned on the tank bag to suit the tank shape and steering lock. A tank bag is required separately and is not included.

Mechanism without magnetic centring

The BASIC system operates fully mechanically: the tank bag is positioned and audibly engages. The strap at its front unlocks the connection for removal. The fuel cap can still be opened with the ring fitted.

Do not combine with Lock-it

The tank bag retaining plate and tank ring must both correspond to the BASIC system. Lock-it components do not fit. When installed as intended, neither ABE approval nor registration is required. The motorcycle manufacturer’s requirements and model-specific information must also be observed.
