BASIC tank ring for Moto Guzzi with metal tank
This universal 5-hole version is designed for Moto Guzzi motorcycles with a sheet-metal tank. The ring forms the motorcycle-side mount for a Hepco & Becker tank bag using the BASIC system.
Matched tank bag system
The BASIC tank ring is supplied together with the matching component for the tank bag. Its position on the tank bag can be selected while taking the tank shape and steering lock into account. The tank bag itself is required separately.
Mechanical locking
Once fitted, the tank bag locks audibly onto the ring. The front strap is used to unlock and then remove it. The fitted ring does not prevent the fuel filler cap from being opened.

BASIC retaining plate required
The retaining plate already included is designed for the BASIC system. Lock-it retaining plates cannot be used on this tank ring.
