The Evotech brake lever protection kit was developed from a concept proven in racing. It protects the front brake lever from unintentional actuation due to external contact and prepares the Yamaha YZF-R7 for road trips and track days.

Machined aluminum construction

  • Protective bar made of high-quality solid aluminum material
  • Precise CNC machining
  • Shaping to minimize air turbulence
  • Durable black powder coating on guard bars and bar end weights

Model-specific version

It is attached using an Evotech handlebar end weight specially designed for the YZF-R7. The larger Road version is heavier and stronger than the stock bar-end weight and can reduce high-frequency vibrations affecting the hands.

Scope of delivery

  • Brake lever protection for the right side of the handlebar
  • Model-specific Evotech handlebar end weight for attachment
  • Matching replacement handlebar end weight for the left side

Assembly instructions

The Evotech fastening system enables simple and at the same time safe installation. The kit is intended exclusively for use with the stock throttle tube and stock handlebar grip.

After assembly, it must be checked that the throttle grip play and the smooth opening and independent closing of the throttle grip are not impaired in any way. This control is the responsibility of the driver.
