The NEWFREN Pro Race Line friction disc clutch kit was developed for the Yamaha YZF-R 6 (RJ 27) from the 2017-2021 model year range. The organic friction discs belong to the Pro Race series and combine a special friction material with a structurally coordinated disc geometry.

Function and design

The design supports oil flow to the discs, thereby contributing to efficient clutch operation. The organic friction material is designed for a high coefficient of friction and reduced compressibility. Together with the special design, this promotes stable function of the coverings even under demanding use. The Pro Race series was developed in collaboration with teams from the Superbike, Moto 3 and MXGP World Championships.
