REV3 complete throttle body kit for the Yamaha YZF-R 3 ABS

The MOTION PRO REV3 complete throttle valve kit for the Yamaha YZF-R 3 ABS (RH 07) enables adjustable throttle valve characteristics. Depending on the coil size selected, the angle of rotation for fully opening the throttle valve can be changed. Smaller coils support slower throttle response, larger coils support faster response.

Variable throttle response adjustment

The system has four interchangeable round coils of 35mm, 40mm, 45mm and 50mm. As a functional example, a larger coil shortens the required angle of rotation: Starting with a 40 mm coil and 90 degrees, 45 mm can give about 80 degrees and 50 mm can give about 70 degrees. A 35mm spool can increase the rotation angle to about 100 degrees. The actual effect depends on the respective motorcycle model.

The progressive cam roller combines a sensitive response at small throttle valve openings with a more direct characteristic at larger openings. This allows the throttle response to be adjusted to suit the driving style and operating conditions.
