AXP Xtrem underrun protection for the Yamaha YZ 450 F

The AXP Xtrem underrun protection protects the frame of the Yamaha YZ 450 F beyond the area below the footrests. Compared to the MX / SX series, this Xtrem model is designed for extended frame protection and also completely encloses the water pump.

Protection and construction

Made of PE-HD with a thickness of 8mm, the underrun protection offers robust cover for the lower area of the vehicle. Its additional thickness reaches a total of 16 mm below the frame poles and thus supports the protection of this area. The polyethylene material is 40% lighter than aluminum, does not deform, does not produce vibrations and ages better over time.

Practical in the maintenance area
