BOYESEN wheel membrane block for Yamaha YZ 250

The BOYESEN wheel membrane block was developed for the Yamaha YZ 250 built in 2003. The intake system combines a model-specific design with constructive solutions for optimized intake air flows. As a result, it supports the optimization of power, torque and elasticity of the engine.

Function and construction

• Membrane block made of 100% aluminum with optimized inner surface
• 4-way diffuser to optimize air flows and avoid pressure losses
• Model-specific membrane plates with variable flexibility
• Aerospace-grade carbon membrane plates
• Rubber-coated, hydrocarbon-resistant membrane plates for longer seal life

The interior surfaces are designed according to the principle of Aerodynamic Surface Optimization. Together with the 4-way diffuser, this design supports a targeted airflow through the intake system. The membrane plates work with several opening levels and a model-specific tension in order to adapt the intake to the vehicle.

Vehicle assignment

Suitable for the Yamaha YZ 250, built in 2003. The design is individually developed for this motorcycle model.

Assembly and use

Intake connection and fastening clamps are included in the scope of delivery. The membrane block is intended for direct assembly without modification. The RC2 diaphragm blocks were developed for competition use and optimize the intake air flows for better pulling power on the Yamaha YZ 250.
