The BOYESEN wheel membrane block is developed as a model-specific intake system for the Yamaha YZ 125 (CE 16) from the 2006-2023 model year range. Its design combines an optimized internal surface with a 4-way diffuser that supports the intake air flows and is intended to avoid pressure losses.

Function and construction

The intake solution uses several technical approaches to optimize power, torque and elasticity. This includes an aerodynamically optimized design of the inner surfaces, model-specific membrane plates and several opening levels for the membrane plates. This design supports a controlled airflow in the intake area and better pulling power.
