NEWFREN Pro Race clutch kit for YAMAHA YZ 125

The NEWFREN Pro Race steel and friction disc clutch kit is assigned for the YAMAHA YZ 125 in the full year range from 1993 to 2025. It combines friction discs and steel discs in a racing-focused clutch design.

Function and construction

The Pro Race friction discs use a friction material composed primarily of cellulose, resins and carbon. This material offers a high coefficient of friction and is less compressible. The special disc design improves the oil flow and thereby supports efficient operation of the clutch.

The combination of friction material and disc geometry increases the stability of the pads. This means that the clutch is designed to function stably even under demanding operating conditions. The Pro Race clutches were developed in collaboration with successful teams from the World Superbike, Moto 3 and MXGP championships.
