POLINI clutch cover for Vespa PK 125

The POLINI clutch cover is a motorsport-developed solution for clutch actuation on the Vespa PK 125. The design with a release drive via a rack reduces friction and allows the clutch pressure piece to slide smoothly. This means that the clutch can be operated easily and with good control.

Function and construction

The rack and pinion drive ensures pleasantly smooth operation, particularly with clutches with reinforced springs. The lid has additional reinforcing ribs. This design reduces the risk of deformation due to heat and the stress on hard clutch springs during racing.

The release lever and return spring are made of stainless steel. This prevents corrosion. In the PK version, the release lever offers two mounts with different lever lengths for the clutch cable. In this way, the appropriate mount can be selected for the respective actuation requirement.
