MALOSSI multiple shaft set for Vespa Cosa 125

The MALOSSI multiple shaft set with flexible connections was developed according to a Malossi design and completely revised compared to the original version. The construction is designed for use with Malossi gears and/or original gears.

Construction and function

The gears are offset in the direction of the axis of rotation. This creates a uniform thickness of the spring holder and improved centering of the wheels relative to the drive wheels. The newly developed springs are held by a clamp screwed to the axle. The laser-cut spring locking plate has a reinforcement on the clutch wheel that prevents axial displacement in the event of a break in the transmission system.

The anti-lock springs have a square cross section and are shot peened for fatigue resistance. The shape of the gear in the area of ​​the anti-locking device differs from the original due to construction.
