AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection for the Sherco 450 SEF-R Racing

The AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection protects the engine area and the underside of the motorcycle during demanding enduro applications. The construction made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with a thickness of 8 mm forms a continuous protective surface and is finished in black.

Function and construction

• Comprehensive engine protection for the lower part of the vehicle
• Protective plate extended up to the shock absorber linkage
• Double material thickness below the linkage thanks to an included reinforcement part
• Integrated protection from the frame to the bottom of the footrests
• New design and new manufacturing process

The extended version includes the shock absorber linkage in the protected area. Below the linkage, the additional part supplied reinforces the protective structure. This means that the underrun protection continuously covers the area between the frame and footrests.

Testing under harsh conditions

The underrun protection was tested and approved by Wade Young from the Sherco Factory Team after a year of testing under “Hard / Extreme” conditions. This testing relates to use in the demanding enduro environment.
