MALOSSI aluminum cylinder for the Piaggio Liberty 150 Leader

The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder ø 63 ø 14 4-stroke is designed as a racing component for the Piaggio Liberty 150 Leader (M 220), built in 2007. The design combines a primary aluminum alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicon and a cylinder liner with a silicon carbide coating.

The ultra-compact 3-ring piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with high silicon content and low thermal expansion. There is a tin coating on the sliding surfaces. The piston is weight-reduced and reinforced.

The ring set includes an I-ring made of nitrided and chrome-plated steel, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy.
