Complete RAD kit for R 1200 GS LC from 2017 and R 1250 GS

The RAD kit redesigns the front, tank and side sections of the BMW GS with coordinated ABS, stainless steel and aluminum components. The new styling makes the front section appear slimmer and more tapered and adds functional elements for airflow and the airbox.

Tank Area and Fairing

• Pair of lightweight ABS tank covers with finish, graphics and transparent protection
• Painted in original colors and supplied with pre-drilled mounting holes
• Tank covers supplied with screws, rubber components and the required mounting hardware
• Pair of lightweight, matte black ABS side panels with an opaque transparent finish
• Matte black ABS center cover
• Matte black ABS “Tip” element with logo beneath an opaque transparent finish and bracket

Front Section and Radiator Deflectors

• Redesigned front section for a slimmer, more tapered appearance
• Side mounts for reusing the original R 1200 GS logos
• Two pre-cut stickers as an alternative to the removed logos
• Pair of matte black ABS radiator deflectors
• Prepared for installation on the tank covers and frame
• Directs hot air from the radiator away from the rider's legs

Airflow and Metal Details

• Airbox snorkels replacing the original airflow restrictors
• According to the manufacturer, higher performance in the mid-rpm range
• Pair of sandblasted and electropolished stainless steel side guards
• The side guards support airflow at the airbox snorkel
• CNC-machined air intakes made from solid Ergal with an anodized finish
• Laser-cut stainless steel mesh and side Unit Garage logo

Compatibility and Installation

This version is designed for the BMW R 1200 GS LC from model year 2017 and the BMW R 1250 GS. The kit is not intended for the Adventure versions. The components are prepared for quick installation and are supplied with the specified mounting hardware.
