The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder kit ø 63 aluminum CVF2 pin ø 15 Sport is intended for the LML Star 150 2 T Prestige from the 2009-2016 model year range. The cylinder is made of a high-strength aluminum alloy and has a cylinder liner with a nickel-chrome coating.

Structure and fluid engineering

The uniform wall thickness around the liner and openings supports controlled heat exchange. Aerodynamically profiled cooling fins are designed for an efficient flow of cooling air. The revised and coated openings use CVF technology with 7 ports.

Details on piston and cylinder head

The lightweight piston has reinforcing ribs on the inside of the skirt as well as windows and diametrical grooves for fresh air supply at the cylinder openings. The cylinder head uses a hemispherical combustion chamber and cooling fins that promote heat flow to the outside and contact with the cooling air.

Connection and adjustment

The connection to the silencer is via a flange with four head screws on the cylinder and an O-ring seal on the exhaust. The system is designed for exhaust systems with a 37 mm inlet diameter. A basic set of seals with different strengths allows the compression to be adapted to different applications.
