TECNIUM air filter for the KTM 400 EGS

The TECNIUM air filter supports the clean intake of the KTM 400 EGS during racing. Its multi-layer foam construction keeps dust, sand and dirt away from the engine, thereby protecting important components such as pistons, cylinders and valves from foreign objects.

Function and structure

The open-pored foam layer on the outside catches larger dirt particles. A second, denser layer of foam also holds back finer dust particles and allows air to continue to flow through. The air filter combines the required particle retention with air permeability designed for racing.

A flexible seal ensures a suitable contact surface with the air filter housing. This provides structural support for the transition between the filter and the housing.
