The VERTEX piston kit is designed for the KTM 250 SX from the entire 2017-2022 model year range. As a top-end kit, it bundles the components for work on the upper engine area and supports the replacement of pistons, piston rings, piston pins and locking clips in a coordinated set.

Function and scope of delivery

The cast aluminum piston has standard compression. The kit includes the piston, two piston rings, the piston pin, safety clips and a top-end gasket set. For the two-stroke application specified here, the piston pin needle bearing is also included. This means that the components provided in the kit are available together for overhauling the upper engine area.
