AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection for the KTM 250 SX

The AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection is designed for the KTM 250 SX from the 2017-2018 model year range. It provides continuous protection for the engine and covers the lower area of ​​the vehicle from the frame to the bottom of the footrests.

Protection concept for engine and chassis

The underrun protection is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with a thickness of 8 mm. Its extended design extends to protecting the shock absorber linkage. Below the linkage, a double thickness of material provides additional coverage; A suitable reinforcement part is included in the scope of delivery.

Development and testing

The product is based on a new design and a new manufacturing process. The skid plate was tested and approved by Wade Young of the Sherco Factory Team after a year of testing under “Hard/Extreme” conditions.
