VERTEX GP Racer Choice forged pistons for KTM 250 EXC F

The VERTEX GP Racer Choice forged piston was developed for the 4T engine of the KTM 250 EXC F. The forged aluminum construction combines a specifically designed piston crown shape with reinforced areas. This stiffens the piston structure and reduces the deformation of the piston crown under full load.

Details designed for racing operations

The shape of the piston crown supports a favorable flame front and is designed to achieve the maximum permissible compression ratio. A surface treatment serves to reduce friction. The short piston pin has a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating.
