Short levers for controlled operation

The Evotech Performance Evo Short Set was developed model-specifically for the Kawasaki Z500 from 2024. The lever blades, which are shorter than the original levers, are designed for operation with two gloved fingers.

• Approximately 55mm usable lever width
• Deeply rounded edges for pleasant contact and a defined operating feel
• Six-way adjustable reach on the brake and clutch levers
• Typical adjustment range of 17 mm, measured at the center of the lever
• Milled markings indicate the selected position

Robust, precisely manufactured construction

Lever blades and mounting connections are milled from solid aluminum material. Millings on the back reduce weight while maintaining structural strength. CNC-manufactured mounting connections enable the intended original components to be precisely adopted.

• Black anodized lever blades and mounts
• Red anodized reach adjusters
• CNC machined stainless steel hinge pins and safety clips
• Defined breaking point at the end of the ball
• Ball ends with dimensions in accordance with legal requirements

Benefits of the short design

The short design reduces the likelihood of a lever coming into contact with a solid object and breaking. With two-finger operation, the remaining fingers can remain on the handlebars.

Assembly

The set replaces the standard brake and clutch levers. Basic tools are sufficient for assembly. The model-specific milled mounts take into account the respective fastenings as well as the intended functions of the clutch switch-off and brake light switch.

Compatibility

Suitable exclusively for the Kawasaki Z500 from model year 2024. The lever set is not a universal version.
