The design combines an optimized inner surface with a 4-way diffuser that guides the intake air flows in a targeted manner and is intended to avoid pressure losses.

Function and construction

The membrane block is made of 100% aluminum. Its inner surfaces were designed as part of Aerodynamic Surface Optimization to ensure flow-efficient air flow. The model-specific membrane plates work with variable flexibility and are made of aviation-grade carbon. Multiple opening levels support multi-stage reed timing.
