AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection for the Husqvarna FE 501

The AXP Enduro Xtrem underrun protection protects the engine area of the Husqvarna FE 501 during demanding enduro applications. The construction covers the area from the frame to the underside of the footrests, creating continuous protection along the underside.

Function and construction

• Complete protection of the engine area
• Made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) with a thickness of 8 mm
• Extended design to protect the shock absorber linkage
• Double thickness of material under the linkage
• Reinforcement element for the area under the linkage included in delivery

The new design and the new manufacturing process are designed for use in the enduro sector. The extended protective surface incorporates the shock absorber linkage into the cover, while the double thickness of the material additionally reinforces this area.

Tested area of application

The underrun protection was tested and approved by Wade Young (Sherco Factory Team) after a year of testing under “Hard / Extreme” conditions. This documents the design for particularly demanding and tough enduro conditions.
