The GP Racer Choice forged piston from VERTEX is designed for the HUSQVARNA FC 250 in the full 2016-2022 model year range. As a forged aluminum piston with racing compression, it combines a precisely designed piston geometry with design details for use in performance-oriented engines.

Function and construction

The shape of the piston crown has been optimized to improve the flame front and achieve the maximum allowable compression ratio. Reinforcements stiffen the piston structure and reduce piston crown deformation under full load. The surface treatment is designed to reduce friction.
