The NISSIN rear brake master cylinder was developed for use in motocross racing. Its design takes into account a typical stress situation in racing: thrown up stones can damage the oil level indicator window of conventional master brake cylinders and thereby cause oil leaks.

This model does not have an oil level indicator. This corresponds to the desire for a rear master brake cylinder in which this window cannot be damaged by stone chips. The version is intended exclusively for racing.
