The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder Ø 67 H2O 4T HONDA is intended for the Honda CBR 125 RT (JC 50) built between 2012 and 2015. The design combines an aluminum cylinder with a high proportion of hardened and tempered silicon with a cylinder liner that has a silicon carbide coating and cross-cut honing.

Cylinders and heat balance

  • Cylinder-piston clearance: 0.05 mm
  • Recalculated and improved heat exchange surfaces
  • Machining on machine tools with precise numerical control

The associated piston has an ultra-compact design and has three rings. It is made of special aluminum with a high silicon content, low thermal expansion and a tin coating on the sliding surfaces. Machining is carried out on numerically controlled machine tools. The lightweight and reinforced construction is complemented by improved heat exchange surfaces.
