The NEWFREN Pro Race friction disc clutch kit was developed for the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 in the 2022-2023 model year range. The Pro Race line combines a special friction material with a coordinated disc design and is aimed at use as a high-quality racing product.

Friction material and design

The friction material is mainly composed of cellulose, resins, carbon and some other components. This composition is designed to have a very high coefficient of friction and lower compressibility. The special design supports oil flow so that the friction disks can work efficiently.

The combination of friction material and design increases the stability of the pads and supports stable function even under demanding operating conditions. The Pro Race clutches were developed in collaboration with successful teams from the Superbike, Moto 3 and MXGP World Championships.
