PUIG E.R.S. – Electronic height adjustment for the windshield

With the Electronic Regulation System from PUIG, the height of the windshield of the BMW R1200GS can be easily adjusted to the respective driving situation using a joystick on the handlebars. It can be operated with one finger while driving, without having to move your right hand to the standard adjustment mechanism.

Fit and Compatibility

The E.R.S. is intended for the BMW R1200GS and is compatible with the original BMW windshield and matching PUIG screens. The windshield itself is not included. The system is not compatible with the reinforcement holder Ref. 7566N or with touring lenses with visor.

Large electrical adjustment range

The system replaces the original BMW disc adjustment. Compared to the standard mechanism, the windshield can be positioned up to 60 mm higher. For city trips or off-road routes, it can be lowered up to 20 mm below the original position.

Integrated design with air baffles

PUIG has designed the mechanism so that it integrates as harmoniously as possible into the front of the motorcycle and improves the rigidity compared to the original adjustment. When the windshield is raised, two aerodynamic air baffles direct the air flow underneath to the side.

Robust design from Barcelona

Entirely designed and manufactured in Barcelona, the system uses aluminum, stainless steel and iron brackets. An anti-corrosion treatment and a black structural paint protect the construction. The plug-and-play design allows installation without any special knowledge of mechanics or electronics.
