The matt black aluminum bracket allows the original taillight to be mounted under the frame. This means that the entire original license plate holder can be dispensed with and the rear of the BMW R nineT can be made significantly more compact.

Note on the Highline taillight

Some vehicles for markets such as the US and Canada are equipped with an oversized Highline taillight. According to the manufacturer, if the holder is to be used on such a vehicle, another suitable rear light is also required.
