Öhlins chassis technology in the 390 mm version

This Öhlins rear shock was manufactured and tuned to Unit Garage's exclusive specifications. The high version combines adjustable damping with hydraulic spring preload and a separate compensation reservoir.

Assembly and Compatibility

• Suitable for BMW R nineT Roadster, Pure and Racer
• Can be installed on NineT models from 2014 to 2016 (EURO 3) without any modifications to the motorcycle
• On NineT models from 2017 (EURO 4) as well as on all Racer and Pure models, the activated carbon filter must be removed to the left of the shock absorber for installation
• Can be installed on NineT models from the 2021 model year (EURO 5) on the motorcycle without any changes

Notes on the exhaust system

The shock absorber is not compatible with the Akrapovic Single HIGH exhaust. Another high exhaust version mentioned is only compatible with the pillion frame removed and in conjunction with the bracket provided.
