Comprehensive care for canvas, leather and split leather

The Unit Garage care set combines various products for the regular cleaning, waterproofing and refurbishment of accessories, bags and jackets made of canvas, smooth leather or split leather. Which care product is suitable depends on the respective material and the application instructions for the individual product.

Scope of delivery

• Cotton bag with Unit Garage logo
• Waterproofing spray
• Block of solid wax
• Color cream in black or brown
• Soft cleaning brush with wooden handle
• Brush with brass bristles and wooden handle for split leather
• Para disc for removing glue and sticky residue
• Microfiber cloth

Waterproofing

The waterproofing spray is intended for leather, canvas and split leather. If necessary, first clean the item with warm, clear water. The spray can be used on damp or dry material.

• Shake bottle before use.
• Spray evenly from a distance of 10 to 15 cm.
• Wipe with a clean, damp cloth to improve distribution and reduce waste.
• For optimal results, allow to dry for 12 hours.

Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid eye and prolonged skin contact and use only in a well-ventilated area.

Care with solid wax

For regular use, the manufacturer recommends resealing the treated accessories at least once a year. A soft cloth or sponge and a heat source are required.

• Remove dirt and sand and clean the material with a sponge and cold water.
• Do not use soap or detergents.
• Do not machine wash, dry clean, iron or tumble dry.
• Work in a warm room or outside in the sun.
• Before treatment, place the item in the sun or near a heat source.
• Spread the wax sparingly with a cloth or sponge, paying particular attention to seams and folds.
• Rub thoroughly and avoid excess wax.
• For an even finish, dry with a hairdryer after waxing and then hang in a warm place overnight.

Color cream for smooth leather

The black or brown color cream is used to cover scratches and scuffs on smooth leather. It must not be used on split leather.

• Clean the affected area.
• Massage the cream into the leather with a sponge.
• Let dry for 15 minutes.
• Polish with a soft cloth.

The tube contains 50 ml.

Brushes and para disk

• The soft brush allows for even, scratch-free cleaning.
• The brush with brass bristles is intended for cleaning and processing split leather.
• The Para disc removes glue and sticky materials from leather or split leather. To do this, apply light pressure over the area and then clean it with a soft cloth.
