The windscreen is made from premium PMMA plexiglass with DOT626 marking and is 4 mm thick. Three clearly defined colour finishes are available to suit the desired appearance.

Important installation note

On the BMW R 1200 GS ADVENTURE 2006-2012, the windscreen can only be installed together with the washers used to set the original angle of the ADVENTURE model. These washers are available only from BMW dealers. All screws must be tightened to 3 Nm unless otherwise specified.
