Comprehensive care set for canvas, leather and split leather

The maintenance set contains coordinated products and tools for the regular care of accessories, bags and jackets made of canvas, smooth leather or split leather. Which product is suitable must be decided based on the respective material and the associated application instructions.

Scope of delivery

• Cotton bag with Unit Garage logo
• Waterproofing spray
• Block of solid wax
• A tube of color cream in black or brown, 50 ml
• Soft cleaning brush with wooden handle
• Brush with brass bristles and wooden handle for split leather
• Cleaning disc, 100 × 60 mm and 8 mm thick
• Microfiber cloth

Waterproofing spray

The spray is used for the regular treatment of accessories, bags and jackets made of leather, canvas or split leather. If necessary, clean the item with warm, clear water. The product can be used on damp or dry fabric.

• Shake bottle before use
• Spray evenly from a distance of 10 to 15 cm
• Wipe with a clean, damp cloth to improve distribution and reduce waste
• For optimal results, allow to dry for 12 hours

Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid eye and prolonged skin contact. Use only in a well-ventilated area.

Care with solid wax

The necessary frequency of treatment depends on the use of the respective product. If used regularly, the manufacturer recommends resealing at least once a year.

• Remove dirt and sand
• Clean with sponge and cold water
• Do not use soap or detergents
• Do not machine wash, dry clean, iron or tumble dry
• Work in a warm room or outside in the sun
• Place the item in the sun or near a heat source
• Spread the wax carefully with a soft cloth or sponge
• Treat seams and folds carefully and rub in the wax well
• Do not use excess wax
• Dry with a hairdryer after waxing for an even finish
• Hang in a warm place overnight

Color cream for smooth leather

The brown or black color cream is used to cover scratches and scuffs on smooth leather. It must not be used on split leather. First clean the area, then massage the cream in with a sponge, let it dry for 15 minutes and polish with a soft cloth.

Brushes and cleaning disc

• The soft brush allows for even, scratch-free cleaning.
• The brush with brass bristles is intended for cleaning and processing split leather.
• The cleaning disc removes glue and sticky materials from leather or split leather. To do this, apply light pressure over the area and then clean it with a soft cloth.
