Comprehensive Paris-Dakar conversion kit with coordinated accessories

This comprehensive PARIS DAKAR HA83 kit combines the ergonomic tank and seat conversion with fairing, luggage, protection, handlebars, exhaust and tail components. The shorter tank supports a seating position further forward and greater load on the front wheel. This reduces the perceived distance to the handlebars and the driving behavior noticeably changes.

Tank, seat and side panels

• Nylon tank in Urban GS Light White with graphics under the transparent surface

• Calculated range of around 400 km with an average consumption of 17.7 km/l
• The motorcycle's fuel cap, fuel pump and activated carbon filter are still used
• The reserve warning light remains functional

The comfortable bench is divided into two parts. The passenger part can be quickly removed using the included key to create more luggage space when traveling solo. The seat height is 850 mm and corresponds to the original Urban GS. The molded ABS side panels have a matt black finish and decor under the transparent layer. Mounting brackets, screws and vibration dampers are included.

Luggage solutions

• Rear carrier with passenger grab handles: Made from tubular steel and coated with matt black epoxy powder. It is attached to the frame after removing the seat, supports a maximum of 5 kg and is designed for soft bags of various models. It is compatible with the Unit Garage saddlebag frames as well as the original BMW saddlebag frames. Not compatible with rigid aluminum or plastic cases. The two leather straps shown for attaching luggage are not included.
• Aluminum luggage rack plate: Matt black epoxy powder coated and designed specifically for the Paris-Dakar kit. It expands the loading area when the passenger seat is removed and can be installed together with the rear carrier. Mounting screws and non-slip rubber pads are included.

Front, protection and handlebars

• Headlight protection grille: Gray version, can be mounted without making any changes to the original parts and can be removed again if necessary. Not approved for road traffic.
• Front start number plate: Made of painted aluminum and with GPS mount. The required mounting hardware is included; Stickers and numbers are not included.
• Front fender kit: ABS fender with brackets and raised headlight bracket. The latter is necessary because the headlight on the Roadster, Pure and Scrambler is lower than on the Urban GS. The kit is installed on the motorcycle without any modifications and includes instructions, brackets and screws.
• Crash bar: Made of steel and finished with a durable powder coating. Spacers and screws are included. Most maintenance work can be carried out without dismantling the bracket.
• Handlebar pad: Black leather, easy to attach to the handlebar crossbar, 26 cm long and 6 cm in diameter.
• Handlebar ends: CNC manufactured in pairs, glossy black and with Unit Garage logo. Two M12 mounting screws are included.
• Ergo handlebars: Old-school steel handlebar with crossbar and constant diameter of 22 mm. The matte black epoxy powder coating complements the more relaxed driving position. The handlebars have the same height as the original, but offer a more comfortable bend and are compatible with heated grips. The parts required for mounting on original risers and controls are included.

Rear conversion

The rear ABS fender kit comes complete with the required mounting hardware and can also be mounted with the original seat and with or without the passenger frame. The specially developed aluminum license plate holder has integrated LED lighting. License plate and indicator holders are modular and can be dismantled if license plates or indicators need to be positioned differently. Plug-and-play wiring uses connectors and requires no soldering or modifications to the original wiring harness. A stainless steel screw set is included.

High silencer

The tall muffler combines stainless steel fittings with a hand-crafted MotoGP-style titanium muffler. It weighs around 2.8 kg less than the original and has a removable dB killer. With the passenger frame installed, it is attached to the original anti-vibration bracket. If the passenger frame is removed, a separately available bracket is required. The carbon fiber heat protection is not included.
