Comprehensive Paris-Dakar conversion for the BMW R nineT

This extensive kit transforms the BMW R nineT with a 22.5 liter tank, a two-piece seat, redesigned fairing parts and a large selection of coordinated accessory components. The shortened tank improves the weight distribution to the front wheel and shortens the perceived distance to the handlebars, which significantly changes the handling and seating experience.

Tank, seat and fairing

• Shortened tank with 22.5 liter capacity.
• According to the manufacturer, with an average consumption of 17.7 km per liter, this results in a range of around 400 km.
• Supplied in Light White with transparent stickers.
• The original tank cap, original fuel pump and activated carbon filter are still used.
• The function of the reserve light on the fuel gauge remains intact.
• NB: TÜV tested
• Comfortable, two-part bench with an unchanged seat height of 850 mm.
• The rear pillion seat can be quickly removed using the included key to create a larger luggage area.
• Black molded ABS side panels with transparent stickers, mounting screws and vibration dampers.
• Front fairing in the style of the R80 GS PD and matching front fender made of painted ABS. Available in Alpine White, Light White Urban GS White or Matt Black.

Luggage solutions

• Matt black powder-coated steel luggage rack with handles for the passenger and a maximum load capacity of 5 kg.
• Handcrafted full leather rear luggage bag, sewn in Italy with nylon thread. Dimensions: 20 × 28 × 15 cm.
• Matt black powder-coated aluminum support plate with mounting screws and anti-slip rubber. It increases the rear contact surface when the pillion seat is removed.
• Black R80 style hand crafted and stitched leather tool bag. Open dimensions: 20 × 36 cm; rolled: 20 × 10 cm.

The two leather straps for attaching items to the luggage rack are expressly not included in the scope of delivery.

Protection and rear conversion

• Black steel headlight guard that can be installed and removed with little effort. Note: Not approved for road traffic.
• Cylinder guard made of steel with high-strength black powder coating, including spacers and screws. Most maintenance work is possible without dismantling the bracket.
• High license plate holder with steel holding arm and aluminum license plate plate, each powder-coated.
• The license plate measures 185 × 185 mm; the original indicators can still be used.
• The license plate holder is compatible with Unit Garage bag holders, pillion handle and luggage racks.

Handlebars and ergonomics

• Old-school handlebar made of black powder-coated steel with crossbar and constant diameter of 22 mm.
• Same height as the original handlebars, but with a more comfortable bend.
• No changes to cables or brake lines required; Compatible with heated grips.
• ABE not yet available.
• A pair of CNC machined bar ends with a gloss black finish and UNIT Garage logo, including two M12 mounting screws.
• Black leather handlebar padding for handlebar crossbars. Dimensions: 26 cm long, 6 cm diameter.

High stainless steel exhaust

• Hand-finished Moto GP style stainless steel tube with titanium end piece.
• About 2.8 kg lighter than the original system.
• Equipped with removable DB killer.
• Mounting on the original vibration-damping bracket.
• Approved for road use; The appropriate homologation report is included.

If the passenger area is shortened, the additional bracket provided must be purchased separately.

Assembly and delivery condition

The fairing and front fender are installed on the motorcycle without any changes. All brackets and fastening parts required for the conversion are included. The parts are painted and come with graphics; Detailed video instructions are also available for the conversion. Illustrations may show earlier versions due to ongoing product improvements.
