The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder ø 63 pin ø 14 4-stroke is intended for the Vespa Sprint 3 V IE in the 2014-2015 model year range. The component is designed as a big-bore kit for the 4-stroke engine and uses a primary aluminum alloy with a high content of hardened and tempered silicon.

The cylinder liner has a silicon carbide coating in electroplated nickel form. Cross smoothing is done with two passes of diamond and very limited tolerances. The machining is carried out on numerically controlled machine tools. Recalculated and improved heat exchange surfaces complement the technical design.

Pistons and piston rings

The ultra-compact three-ring piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with high silicon content, low thermal expansion and a tin coating on the sliding surfaces. It is weight-reduced and reinforced. The piston rings include a nitrided and chrome-plated I-compression ring, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy.

Vehicle assignment and notice

Suitable for Vespa Sprint 3 V IE, built between 2014 and 2015. Installation is intended exclusively with the Force Master 2 control unit. The product is intended exclusively for competitions at designated venues in accordance with the regulations of the relevant sports associations. No liability is assumed for improper use.
