The MALOSSI crankshaft is intended for the Vespa Primavera ET 3 in the full year range from 1976 to 1983. It combines defined dimensions with a design for engines that have been converted with a diaphragm valve instead of the original rotary valve.

Function and execution

The crankshaft guides the connecting rod and piston and at the same time influences the inlet into the crankcase. The full collar design supports the intake of fresh gases into the lower housing through specially designed bevels on the rear of the drive side. An optimal balance is supported by tungsten inserts.
