MALOSSI aluminum cylinder for Vespa LX Touring 150

The MALOSSI aluminum cylinder ø 63 pin ø 14 4-stroke is designed as a big-bore component for the Vespa LX Touring 150 from the entire 2012-2014 model year range. The design combines an aluminum cylinder with a cylinder-piston connection designed for low tolerances.

The cylinder liner has a silicon carbide coating in electroplated nickel form. The processing is characterized by crossed smoothing with two diamond passes and very limited tolerances. The cylinder-piston connection has a tolerance of 0.05 mm. Revised heat exchange surfaces support the structural design of the cylinder.

Pistons and piston rings

The piston is made of a special aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, low thermal expansion and tin coating on the sliding surfaces. It is weight-reduced and reinforced. The piston ring equipment includes a nitrided and chrome-plated I-compression ring, a special cast ring and a three-part wiper ring made of special chrome-plated steel alloy.

Vehicle assignment and notice

Suitable for the Vespa LX Touring 150, built between 2012 and 2014. Installation is only intended with the dedicated Force Master 2 control unit. This product is intended exclusively for racing in specially designated locations in accordance with the regulations of the relevant sports authorities.
