Execution and manufacturing

The connecting rod is manufactured by leading Japanese OEM factories and is made from heavy-duty alloys. Double forging on special forgings results in improved fiber flow and a construction designed for strength, durability and dimensional accuracy.

The surfaces are shot blasted. This blasting reduces internal stresses and smoothes the forged surfaces. Precisely located PROX oil slots support oil supply to the lower connecting rod and help extend bearing life.
