RFX Pro Series titanium/aluminum footrests for KAWASAKI KX 450

The RFX Pro Series titanium/aluminum footpegs combine a lightweight aluminum base with robust titanium teeth. When riding in difficult conditions, the construction supports secure grip and stable control of the motorcycle.

Function and construction

The footpegs were developed by the in-house R&D team and worked on together with RFX-sponsored riders. Its base is made of CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and is hard anodized. This gives the footrest a surface designed for wear resistance while weighing just 160 grams per piece.

Replaceable titanium teeth made from Ti-6AL-4V aerospace titanium are used for contact with the boot. The teeth are thicker than previous steel versions, significantly reducing boot wear. When worn, the titanium teeth can be replaced individually rather than replacing the entire set.
