YAMAHA YZF-R9 [2025] - R-Racer screen

PUIG R-Racer disc for the YAMAHA YZF-R9

The R-Racer screen was developed specifically for the 2025 YAMAHA YZF-R9 and combines a sporty shape with specifically optimized aerodynamics. At 330 x 325 mm, it is 60 mm higher than the original disc. This directs the wind more strongly over the driver's helmet and shoulder area.

Developed from racing

With the R-Racer series, PUIG uses many years of experience from working with MotoGP and WorldSBK teams. The shape was tested in a virtual wind tunnel to improve the aerodynamic coefficient over the stock screen and to support clear vision through the screen.

Development and production take place in Barcelona. A camera-based inspection system checks the panes as part of quality assurance.

Robust and precise construction

• Dimensions: 330 x 325 mm

• Made from 3mm thick, impact-resistant acrylic
• Rounded edge with 2 mm radius in accordance with the mentioned TÜV safety requirements
• Using the original screws
• No additional edge binding required

Four versions to choose from

The R-Racer disc is in the versions Sure, Tinted, Strongly toned and Black available. This means that the window can be selected to match the desired look without changing its vehicle-specific shape.
