PUIG R-Racer screen for the BMW S 1000 RR

The PUIG R-Racer screen combines the experience from international motorcycle racing with a precisely developed shape for the BMW S 1000 RR [2025]. With its contour, which is 25 mm higher than the original screen, it is designed to direct the wind more strongly over the helmet and shoulders and to improve the aerodynamic properties.

Developed in the virtual wind tunnel

The shape of the R-Racer screen was examined in the virtual wind tunnel in order to optimize the aerodynamic coefficient compared to the standard screen. The raised design supports the targeted diversion of the air flow that would otherwise hit the rider's helmet and shoulders.

For the R-Racer series, PUIG uses many years of experience from working with racing teams in MotoGP and WorldSBK. Development and manufacturing take place in Barcelona using modern production and quality control processes.

Dimensions and construction

• Dimensions (height × width): 450 × 430 mm
• 25 mm higher than the original disc
• Material thickness: 3 mm
• Made from impact-resistant acrylic glass
• Rounded edge with 2mm radius according to German TÜV safety control
• Assembly using the original screws
• No additional finishing strips required

Four versions available

The R-Racer disc is in the versions Sure, Tinted, Strongly toned and Black available. This means you can choose the pane to match the desired appearance.
