PUIG rear fairing for a striking single seat look

The PUIG rear fairing replaces the passenger seat of the KTM 990 DUKE R [2025] and gives the motorcycle a slimmer, sportier rear section. Their flat, clear surfaces echo the minimalist and aggressive lines of the naked bike and create a look that is reminiscent of single-seat racing motorcycles.

Fit: KTM 990 DUKE R, built in 2025. The cover is used instead of the passenger seat.

Design to match the modern naked bike

PUIG has developed the seat cover specifically for the demanding contours of modern motorcycles. The reduced design simplifies the lines of the rear, while the concise shape gives the KTM additional personality and a clear single-seat character.

The rear fairing consists of two interconnected parts. Their construction is based on the original fastening principle and is designed for uncomplicated handling.

Robust ABS plastic and two versions

The component is made of high-quality, 3 mm thick ABS plastic. This material combines low weight with high durability and fits precisely into the design of the motorcycle. There are two optical versions to choose from:

  • Matt black
  • Carbon look

Dimensions and fastening

  • Width: 268mm
  • Length: 320mm
  • Depth: 96mm
  • Material thickness: 3mm
  • Material: ABS plastic

The PUIG cover directly replaces the passenger seat and uses the same fastening system. This involves opening and removing the seat before inserting the rear panel into place. A pre-assembled bracket assembly is included as a cohesive unit for ease of insertion.

Development and production by PUIG

PUIG designs and manufactures this rear fairing in its facilities near the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló. Modern processes for shaping technical plastics enable a light, durable construction that is integrated into the design of the motorcycle.
