PUIG brake cooler for the KTM 990 Duke R

The PUIG Brake Cooler directs the airstream specifically to the brake pads and brake discs. The system was developed for high loads with strong and repeated braking, as can occur particularly on the racetrack and at high outside temperatures.

Targeted air flow to the brake

The coolers capture the incoming wind, compress and accelerate it and direct it directly to the pad and disc. During race track tests, this resulted in an average reduction in brake temperature of ten degrees. This counteracts overheating and helps the brake system work optimally under high stress.

Aerodynamically shaped cover

The partial lens-shaped cover reduces turbulence on the front wheel and thus promotes aerodynamics and stability, especially at higher speeds. At the same time, the shape gives the motorcycle a decidedly sporty look.

Important compatibility note

The brake cooler is not compatible with the PUIG fork protector PHB19. There is also an ABE document for the product; its specific scope must be checked before use.
